Siding & Window Replacement

Gable end prior to work commencement
Scaffolding erected to accommodate siding and window replacement - siding being removed
Good example of wood trim on top of wood siding, trapping moisture and accelerating decay at trim locations.  Siding decayed all the way  thru to framing

Old glass inserts which are difficult to flash and vulnerable to water intrusion being removed to accommodate proper window installation
Glass removed and some serious thought being executed!
Moistop flashing installed and new window with nailing fin attachment being installed

Old siding removed - (2) new windows installed and secondary drainage plane building paper in process of installation
Building paper installed and incorporated correctly with new window flashing
New decay resistant composite siding being installed

Siding and new decay resistant trim installed at perimeter of wall and windows.
Beautiful new gable end finished and painted.  Decay resistant materials and proper construction technique will ensure minimal maintenance and durability for a life time!!!
